According to reports from Turkey, Emmanuel Emenike has been offered to EPL strugglers Sunderland.
It is understood that Fenerbahce want to sign Jeremain Lens (on loan from Sunderland) on a permanent deal or extend his loan deal by another season and want to include Emenike as part of the bargain to Sunderland, Fanatik claims.
Emenike has scored seven times and provided four assists in 20 games for Fenerbahce this season.
The former Nigeria international is behind the pecking order with Robin van Persie and Moussa Sow ahead of him.
If the Suderland pulls through, Emenike will be enjoying a second stint in England having featured for West Ham on loan last season.
The 28-year-old will be linking up with another Nigerian in Victor Anichebe if Coach David Moyes sanctions his move.
